How It Works
Clinic Fees
Most services are covered by the following insurance providers:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- HealthPartners
- MinnesotaCare
- Medical Assistance
- Medicare
- Most employee-sponsored insurance companies.
If you are not covered by an insurance plan, fees are determined on a sliding fee schedule based on household gross income. No one is denied services due to an inability to pay. However, individuals who are uninsured will be referred to a MNsure navigator within Catholic Charities to complete an insurance application.
Services are available to all eligible persons regardless of age, color, creed, disability, gender, national origin, race, religion or sexual orientation.

Diagnostic Assessments
Building a Foundation for Effective Treatment
A diagnostic assessment is an in-depth evaluation that helps identify mental health needs and determine the most appropriate treatment options. During this appointment, a licensed mental health professional gathers information about current concerns, symptoms, personal history, emotional and social functioning, medical and mental health history, substance use, and current or past medications.
For children and adolescents, parents or guardians are typically involved in the assessment process. Following the evaluation, clients receive a diagnosis when appropriate, recommendations for treatment, and guidance regarding eligibility for mental health services. Diagnostic assessments are an important first step in developing a personalized plan for care and support.
