Donating appreciated stock, bonds, or mutual funds is a powerful way to support Catholic Charities while potentially receiving significant tax benefits, including avoiding capital gains tax on the appreciation.

If you are 70½ or older, you can also give directly from your IRA through a qualified charitable distribution.
