Catholic Charities Financial and Housing Counseling program, offered since 1982, has no income limits and will see anyone who is looking for guidance with their financial situation.
When you use Catholic Charities’ Financial and Housing Counseling services, you will receive expert assistance that enables you to make informed financial decisions. This financial education and ongoing support is an easy way to build financial security. Catholic Charities Financial and Housing Counseling program is a licensed U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provider.
Catholic Charities Counselors are (HUD) certified.

Home Stretch Homebuyer Education Courses
Upcoming Sessions
Catholic Charities is hosting multiple sessions of the Home Stretch Homebuyer Education class throughout the year. This free two-session course, led by our Financial and Housing Counseling staff, provides essential guidance for individuals looking to navigate the homebuying process with confidence. Topics include mortgage qualification, credit and affordability, loan closing procedures, and the responsibilities of homeownership.
Attendees will hear from industry experts in lending, real estate, title services, and home inspection. A certificate of completion will be provided, which may be required by certain loan programs. Participants can also take advantage of free pre-purchase advising services for personalized support. Dinner is included for evening sessions.
