Financial Assistance

Catholic Charities’ Financial Assistance is available to anyone who needs it, providing immediate, short-term assistance to individuals and families in financial crisis.

The primary service area for financial assistance includes St. Cloud, St. Augusta, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, and Waite Park. Sign up for an appointment or call (320) 229-4567 if you need assistance. We do our best to accommodate walk-ins during program hours on a first come, first served basis. Walk-ins should arrive at least 2 hours before our closing time to be fully served. NOTE: To make an appointment in April or later, you must create a username and password at Emergency Services.

Financial Assistance may be able to help with: 

• Fuel cards (must have appointment, valid Driver’s License and current insurance)
• St. Cloud Metro Bus transportation
• Apartment application fees
• Prescriptions/co-pays
• Birth certificates
• State IDs/driver's license renewals or replacements

Rent/deposit and utilities expenses are not  eligible for Financial Assistance.
