It is important to note that because we are a nonprofit organization, Catholic Charities does not offer paid internships.
Child & Adolescent Mental Health Undergraduate Level Internship
- Program Name: Catholic Charities Day Programs
- Location: Day Treatment, 1712 7th Ave S, St. Cloud, MN 56301
- Hours: Minimum of 400 hours
- Education: Post-secondary education in social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice, child and family studies, special Education and human relations.
- Experience: Previous experience working with youth is preferred
- Duration: Fall, Spring or Summer session

Communications & Public Relations

- Education: Student training toward A.S. or B.A./B.S. Degree in Mass Communications/Graphic Design/Journalism/Marketing or related field.
- Experience: Experience in a graphics and advertising environment (Microsoft Word, Excel, and familiarity with In Design software preferred. Web site experience a plus).

Emergency Services Counselor Intern
- Program Name: Catholic Charities Financial Assistance
- Department: Emergency Services

- Hours: To be determined by the program and Intern candidate
- Education: Students needing to complete a 200 hour plus internship to obtain their Undergraduate Degree in a Human Service Discipline.
- Experience: Ability to work independently as some projects will require initiative and independent action with general supervision on an outcome basis. Ability to work with others and be a contributing member of the team. Ability to write clearly and concisely. Strong interpersonal communication and computer skills Energetic self-starter
- Duration: One semester in a full time unpaid internship

Human Resources Intern

- Hours: Prefer student who is interested in completing a minimum 20 hour/week internship

Undergraduate-Level Child & Adolescent Mental Health Internship - Elk River
- Program Name: Catholic Charities Day Programs – Child and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Programs/Day Treatment
- Location: 508 Freeport Avenue NW, Suite D, Elk River, MN 55330
- Hours: Minimum 20 hour/week
- Education: Must be pursuing BA/BS in Human Resources, Business, Speech Communications, Psychology, or other related field
- Experience: Prefer 1-2 years of previous work experience
- Duration: Semester
- Position Available: Fall, Spring or Summer Semester
Child & Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Day Treatment Master's Level Intern
- Program: Catholic Charities Day Treatment Program
- Department: Day Programs
- Location: Day Treatment, 1712 7th Ave S, St. Cloud, MN 56301
- Hours: A minimum of at least 20 hours per week both for the benefit of the agency and the student intern. 600-700 total hours
- Education: Post-secondary education in social work or psychology
- Experience: Previous experience working with youth is preferred
- Duration: Fall/Spring or Summer session

Intensive Outpatient Day Treatment Internship - St. Cloud
- Program Name: Catholic Charities Day Services - Child and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Programs/Day Treatment
- Location: 1726 7th Ave. S., St. Cloud, MN 56301
- Hours: Approx. 24-32 hours per week for credit with an academic supervisor. Minimum of 400 hours
- Education: Pursuing a degree in a related area
- Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with Mental Illness is preferred but not required
- Duration: Fall/Spring or Summer session

Graduate-Level Child & Adolescent Mental Health Internship - Elk River
- Program Name: Catholic Charities Day Programs - Child And Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program/Day Treatment
- Location: 508 Freeport Avenue NW, Suite D, Elk River, MN 55330
- Hours: Term is the full school year; Minimum hours per week 20 600-700 total hours
- Education: In a Human Services Graduate program
- Duration: Fall, Spring and Summer semester or year-round opportunities
- Stipend & Reimbursement: None
Services For Homeless Youth Intern
- Program: Catholic Charities Services for Homeless Youth
- Department: Community Services
- Location: 1730 7th Ave S St. Cloud, MN 56301
- Hours: 15-30 hours a week
- Education: High School Diploma. Candidates must be interested in human service field and working toward a college degree
- Duration: Fall, Spring, and Summer. Groups are held days, afternoons, & evenings. Due to the nature of the groups and the youth we serve, it is very important that Interns be able to assist with each of the thirteen groups. Youth in the housing program are met with throughout the day and into the evening
- Stipend & Reimbursement: None
- Position Available: Fall, Spring & Summer session

Senior Dining SNAP Intern
- Program Name: Catholic Charities Senior Dining Program
- Location: 157 Roosevelt Rd, St. Cloud, MN 56301
- Hours: To be determined by the program and intern candidate
- Education: Undergraduate Degree in Gerontology/Nursing
- Experience: Ability to work independently as some projects will require initiate and independent action with general supervision on an outcome basis. Ability to work with others and be a contributing member of the team. Ability to write clearly and concisely. Strong interpersonal communication and computer skills.
- Duration: One semester - 40 hours
- Stipend & Reimbursement: $14.00/hr
