Emergency services can include basic everyday essentials such as clothing or cookware, access to healthy meals for you and your family and financial assistance.
If this is your first time visiting Catholic Charities Emergency Services, it’s helpful to bring the following items. Participants will not be refused service without these items. If you have visited Emergency Services in the last year and your file is current, please provide a photo ID.

The Basic Everyday Essentials program serves individuals living in the Diocese of St. Cloud and helps those in need with the basic essentials of daily living. This includes seasonally and work-appropriate clothing, bedding, towels, cookware and dinnerware.
Please
call us to discuss emergency requests for additional serves in a month.
Catholic Charities Emergency Services requests that you make an appointment at least 24 hours in advance of your visit.
Please allow one (1) hour between Food Shelf and Basic Everyday Essentials appointments. For assistance in making your appointment, please call
(320) 229-4567. Those arriving without an appointment will be offered the first available time slot.

Catholic Charities Emergency Services Food Shelf provides access to healthy food for people faced with missing meals. We connect people able and willing to help, with those facing challenges in meeting their own or their family’s basic needs.

Catholic Charities Emergency Financial Assistance provides immediate, short-term assistance to individuals and families in financial crisis.
We may be able to help your family with items such as fuel cards, transportation, apartment application fees, prescriptions, birth certificates, or state IDs/driver's license renewals.
Payments are made to vendors; no cash is exchanged.
Catholic Charities In-Home Program is part of our services to persons with developmental disabilities. We also serve those with brain injuries. Our program helps with the development and reinforcement of personal care and daily living skills. We work on skills one on one, in group settings, in the community and in the home of those served.
