Catholic Charities Emergency Services Food Shelf

Our mission is simple: To provide access to healthy food for people faced with missing meals.  We connect people able and willing to help, with those facing challenges in meeting their own or their family’s basic needs.
Catholic Charities Emergency Services Food Shelf provides a 5-7 day supply of food to households in the St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids, Sartell, St. Augusta and Waite Park communities.
If you live outside these communities, use the Food Bank Locator to find the food shelf nearest to you.  Or contact us at 320-229-4560 for assistance in finding the food shelf that serves your area.
The food shelf hours are listed to the right.
If this is your first time using Catholic Charities Emergency Services, we will request:
  • Identification for everyone in your household. This could include a driver’s license, state-issued ID card, medical insurance card or birth certificate.
  • Proof of address for each adult in your household. This could include a utility bill or a piece of mail addressed to you at your current address (not junk mail.) A driver’s license or other identification card may NOT be used as proof of your current address.
  • Sources of income to determine TEFAP (Emergency Food Assistance) eligibility.
  • Bringing your own boxes and bags is encouraged.
If you have already registered to use Catholic Charities Emergency Services in the last year and your file is up-to-date, we will only request either a photo ID or a Catholic Charities ID card to access your file.
