How you can help

Catholic Charities Emergency Services is able to assist so many of those in need as a result of the generous support received from the communities we serve.  Thank you for your interest!

Food, clothing, household items and personal care items are always welcome.  Our biggest need is cash donations. You can donate online here (don't forget to designate your gift to the food shelf)

To learn about other ways you can support our efforts, see below.
Volunteers are the truly the lifeblood of Emergency Services. Some see their work with Emergency Services as their part-time “volunteer job.” Whether you are looking for a short term project or something that involves more commitment we are willing to work with you to find a helpful, flexible, and meaningful “fit”.
Ongoing volunteer opportunities include but are not limited to:
  • Stocking shelves
  • Sorting clothing and food donations
  • Assisting with seasonal distributions (Holiday Toys)
  • Direct client services
  • Planning and hosting a food drive or clothing drive
For more Emergency Services individual or group volunteer information call our Volunteer Coordinator at 320.229.4568. To print an Emergency Services volunteer application click here.
While cash donations stretch the farthest, direct food donations help us provide a respectful variety of food for our clients to choose from. Donations are accepted Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8 am. – 4 pm, and Wednesdays 8 am - 6:30 pm.  Donations can be delivered to the donation door, “D” (the door closest to Tenvoorde Ford).
