By joining the Board of Directors, I feel that I can provide assistance to ensure that this great work continues.”
Tamara Huesers’ work as an on-call social worker as well as her ongoing volunteerism in the community led her to join the Board, “I feel blessed to be asked to be part of the Catholic Charities’ Board. The ability to hear, see, learn, participate and continue to inform our community of the multitude of resources that can be available to so many generations is humbling.”
Father Glenn Krystosek, pastor at the Church of St. Louis in Paynesville, is impressed with the immensity and vastness of Catholic Charities. “It is exciting to be part of an organization that has helped so many over the years.” He says that he looks forward to learning more about Catholic Charities’ outreach programs and fundraising efforts to support its work.
Jill Smith is the Practice Administrator for Sartell Pediatrics. She joined Catholic Charities’ Board of Directors in the fall of 2015 and says that she is also impressed with the size and depth of the services offered by Catholic Charities. “Catholic Charities programming is agile, and has a deep history of serving the community and its residents where it’s needed most. I believe that agility is an extremely important, yet challenging, quality for organizations to maintain – especially while standing true to its mission.”
