CATHOLIC CHARITIES INTRODUCES TWO NEW BOARD MEMBERS
St. Cloud, MN. – Molly Weyrens, St. Cloud; and Deacon James Schulzetenberg, Greenwald, have recently joined the board of directors for Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud.
Catholic Charities is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving a 16-county area across the heart of Central Minnesota. Catholic Charities builds communities, promotes family life, and enhances human dignity by providing quality services to meet the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of individuals and families of all faiths and beliefs.
Weyrens is the faith formation director at Christ Our Light Catholic Churches in Zimmerman and Princeton. “I think the longevity and commitment to this area is what impresses me the most about Catholic Charities,” said Weyrens. “There are deep roots here and Catholic Charities takes those seriously. The staff is amazing and the volunteer base is incredible.”
Weyrens looks forward to sharing new connections with Catholic Charities and finding a way to link people through her work with the Central MN Catholic Worker. “Love in action is definitely alive and well here!”
Schulzetenberg owns Jim’s Electric Service in Greenwald, MN and is a Catholic deacon serving St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish in Long Prairie. “I appreciate the efficiency and vastness of the organization,” said Schulzetenberg. “Being a valued member of such a large Catholic Charities organization is important to me.”
Schulzetenberg is excited to learn more about the needs of the Diocese and how they are being met. “I am also excited to work alongside people who make a difference in the lives of others. Catholic Charities provides a means for me to serve in a way that cannot be done individually.”
