Our central Minnesota community is full of individuals and groups who have dedicated their time to helping others. Catholic Charities offers volunteer opportunities for adults, students and groups at a variety of commitment levels.

One hour, one day, one week, one year—Catholic Charities has volunteers who have made many different commitments to helping others.
Generally, our volunteers are age 18 and older. Common volunteer opportunities include doing clerical work, working in one of our kitchens, or sorting and folding clothes. However, if you have special skills and talents that you would like to use, please tell us!
We ask all of our individual volunteers to fill out an individual registration form. You may click on the link below to access the online form.
Once we receive your application, we’ll give you a call to talk about how your unique skills and abilities can be best used.

Many students have shared their time and talent with Catholic Charities. Their activities often fall into three different categories: required volunteering, group volunteering and internships.
For those who are required to volunteer for short periods of time, know that opportunities are at times limited—especially opportunities for client interaction. All opportunities are filled on a first-come first-serve basis. Email volunteer@ccstcloud.org soon for the best chance of fulfilling your requirement.

Not all opportunities are available at all locations. Contact the Catholic Charities Senior Dining Site Coordinator at the location nearest you to learn about opportunities and to sign up to volunteer.
Catholic Charities Emergency Services Food Shelf relies on the assistance of more than 2,000 volunteers each year to provide its group of services. To volunteer at Emergency Services, fill out a volunteer registration form below. We will meet with you one on one to discuss confidentiality and other Emergency Services policies before scheduling you to volunteer.
Catholic Charities Central Minnesota Foster Grandparent Program brings children and seniors together at schools and non-profit organizations throughout the Diocese of St. Cloud. Foster grandparents have the ability to use their time, skills and experience to help children learn. Foster grandparents give eight to 40 hours of service weekly or a minimum of 260 hours to a maximum of 2080 hours annually.
Fulfill community service requirements by volunteering at Emergency Services. All court-ordered community service volunteers are required to complete an application and have approval prior to their first visit. To apply, please complete the application below.
